Patio Covers

Landscape Technologies are installers of Alumawood patio covers. We have installed Alumawood patio covers from the Laguna Niguel area in Orange County to the San Dimas area in Los Angeles County and all over the 714 and 909 area codes. Alumawood patio covers are aluminum patio covers with a wood grain texture. Because they are lightweight, they don’t need large footers poured at the base of the posts. In fact, they can be installed on existing natural, or stamped concrete patios, unlike their wood counter-part. Alumawood patio covers require no maintenance, such as painting - and they don’t warp. Termites and dry wrought are not a problem. The downfall is that they cannot support weight, so you can’t walk on them or hang heavy objects from them. But since they are hollow, it gives us an opportunity to install low voltage landscape lighting in the posts and beams. Using open lattice (California style) patio covers also lets the smoke from the built-in barbeques escape, so they are great installed over outdoor bbq's. We also install wood patio covers , and many Landscape Designers like to use natural or stained wood patio coversin their landscape design plans.
