We install wood and alumawood patio covers. Alumawood is an aluminum product with simulated wood grain.
We also install palapas which are very common for outdoor garden bars and Built-in barbecue islands. The aluminum patio covers
we install can be a good alternative to wood, especially in the beach cities of Orange County, CA, where the salty air can cause deterioration
to the wood patio covers more rapidly than in Los Angeles, San Gabriel and Inland Valleys. But, even in those areas, they also
can be a good alternative. They don't require painting, they do not warp, and do not get termites. Since they are hollow,
we also can run low voltage outdoor lighting inside the columns and install some nice lighting fixtures to the structure creating
a very nice ambiance. Another benefit is they can be installed directly on an existing concrete patios without the need to install
large concrete footers. They are pre-engineered, so city permits are easy to obtain. One drawback is, you cannot walk
on top of them.
